This is one of the classic, one story, horseshoe shaped motels of yesteryear. The owner greated us cheerfully and directed us to our unit. The units are small, but comfortable and very well maintained and CLEAN. They have cable TV, a microwave, and good size fridge. The owner gave us extra pillows and a hair dryer on request. It was quiet for sleeping and convenient to restaurants for breakfast. The price was quite reasonable.
It is dated true. However, very well maintained. Owners were friendly. This reminded me of movies from the past. I enjoyed. Close to lake erie. Quiet place.
I think for a motel, Haven Motel is acceptable. They have a bathing facilities with ample towels and soap. However the room is equipped with little. There are only 3 plastic cups. No kettle or tea bags. Beds are comfortable and aircon is ok. Overall a good 2 days stay.
This is the oldest hotel we've been to in years. They still use an old fashioned key. Nothing has been updated except the light bulbs... They now use LED. However, the place was spotless! Not a speck of dust on anything, including hanging glass light globes and picture frames. The owners are very friendly and allowed us to check out a half hour late.
