We decided to try Happy Jacks because it was advertised at out hotel. The service was friendly and fast but the food was just okay. The sweet and sour chicken had more batter than chicken which was a bit disappointing but the beef and broccoli had tons of beef and broccoli too. It was also unfortunate that the patio was closed because of a chance of rain as that was one of the drawing freatures of the restaurant.
Went for Dinner recently and was blown away! We were informed that all of the sauces for each dish were homemade in-house, and boy it shows! The meal presentations were exquisite and the dishes themselves had great portions. We also enjoyed the patio area at the back overlooking the Niagara River. I have already strongly recommended my circle of friends visit Happy Jacks!
Excellent food, friendly receptive staff, best Chinese food I've ever had, multiple dishes served to a bus of 60 all hot, all homemade, very flavorable and service very efficient for such a large group!
I learned when visiting here this is a business that has been around a while and I hope if I ever get back it will still be there. Food was excellent, only thing I got there kind of late and alas the meal I wanted was sold out. My second choice was excellent.
Worst food experience I ever had. won ton mein .bowl of broth with noodles no veggies.order general tao chicken to go.when got home it was a container of mush.no flavor at all.then I was belittled at the cash register for using my google pay.said they do not allow it because people could fraudulently use it.after I explained that I did not have my wallet he decided that he would allow the tap only this time.then belittled ne for not carrying my wallet for ID.then tried to explain to me that Fraud happens, he knows because he works for the government.very rude person.will never go there again.the only pleasant person I encountered was the young man who brought me my takeout.
